Mum always terrified of water, was lying in 2 inches of water, the tide minimal as it started to go out, she said Jesus save me, clinging onto a few stones , by this time it was only an inch deep, she was in no danger at all. I'm afraid I was laughing so much I couldn't move. Mum was ok!  To make us laugh even more I'd bought mum a new towel with a blow up pillow inserted, nice & comfy,  unfortunately the local tavernas dog also took a shine to it and lay down on it , we were too nervous to move him off, so there we were us on 1 towel & the dog in comfort on mums.
